Completed in December 2023, the acquisition expanded PCG’s ability to provide superior packaging for the fashion and high-end-garment industries, adding RHE’s patented clothing hanger packs and wardrobe boxes to PCG’s assortment using environmentally friendly and sustainable materials. RHE Container Company began operations in 1951 when Aaron Feder opened the business in New York City specializing in corrugated containers, and by 1961 had pivoted to hanger packs and wardrobe boxes, securing its first patent along the way.
Following 73 years of excellence, RHE is now fully part of President Container Group, strengthening PCG’s role as a premier partner for fashion companies seeking patented garment protection. The high-quality corrugated components for these products are manufactured at PCG’s advanced Middletown, NY Super Plant, powered by over 19,000 solar panels that generate clean energy while supporting ethical fiber sourcing and closed-loop recycling systems.
